The St. Helena III canal boat is pulled by two draft horses, Dan & Izzy, and departs from the Port of Canal Fulton in St. Helena Heritage Park for a one-hour ride down the Ohio & Erie Canal. A historian on board provides information on the history of the canal, the boat and the area.
Canal boat rides can be cancelled during dry season due to low water levels or during heavy storms.
The City of Canal Fulton is pleased to announce that we now own and operate the St. Helena III Canal Boat. The Canal Fulton Heritage Society transferred ownership of the canal boat, horses, and related equipment to the City in February 2015. The City had been operating the canal boat for the Heritage Society since 2009.

2020 Private Group Charters:
Reservations for private group charters can be made by calling the Canal Fulton Canalway Center at 330-854-6835 or by sending an email to email@example.com. Schools, community programs, family events, weddings, company outings, and tour groups all welcome.
Educational Groups start at $185 (includes preschool, K-12, home school & college groups)
Community Groups start at $250 (includes church, club, family & tour groups)
