Stand By Rides:
The St. Helena III Canal Boat is pulled by two draft horses (when available) or by a small tractor. All rides depart from the Port of Canal Fulton in St. Helena Heritage Park for a one-hour ride down the Ohio & Erie Canal. A historian on board provides information on the history of the canal, the boat and the area.

Weather-Permitting: Canal boat rides can be cancelled due to low water levels or during heavy storms.
Canal Fulton Canalway Center:
Located at 125 Tuscarawas St. in Canal Fulton, Ohio, the Canalway Center is a seasonal visitor center and home to the St. Helena III Canal Boat. At the center, you’ll find background and orientation to the city, along with plenty of parking. There is also a playground at St. Helena Park as well as a pavilion that is available for rental (see Parks & Rec Page for available dates and reservation form). Canalway Center is Open Saturday and Sundays through October from 9am-3pm. Closed Monday- Friday.
